I currently work at JVM Solutions, a healthcare firm based in San Antonio that supports federal clients like NASA and the Department of Defense by providing healthcare management, staffing, and logistics. As a Technical Writer and Business Development specialist, this requires the rapid development of highly technical proposals and presentations to explain solutions to healthcare requirements in a compelling, concise, and accurate way.
Adaptability: Being new to federal contracting, this position required me to rapidly absorb new organizational culture, style, clientele, and complex medical/policy knowledge (including FAR regulations) to quickly deliver high-level content and presentations across multiple projects simultaneously.
Multilayer Review Management: I manage the end-to-end editorial lifecycle using Microsoft SharePoint and revision tracking, navigating a multi-layer review environment (SMEs/Providers, Legal, Compliance, and CEO) to ensure 100% compliance and cohesion with organizational goals and a clear audit trail.
Strategic Leadership: To ensure message cohesion, I develop and present solution-based content and win themes to stakeholders, leading internal and external project kickoff meetings to establish consensus.
Narrative Development: Part of my specialty is transforming complex healthcare and policy documents into concise, compelling, and compliant brand narratives centered around high-impact win themes.
External Representation: I represent the company and communicate its services and differentiators at key industry conferences and client meetings, improving external brand and market presence.
Project Management: Great results start with great communication. Every project I work on at JVM Solutions starts with kickoff meeting and includes status update meetings at the team, organizational, and partner level. This ensures strategic alignment and proactive problem-solving among all parties.
